It's the last weekend to do spooky Halloween activities and Renee Dinino is in the Better studio to give an update on all the things you and your family can do this weekend.

On Saturday Ringo Starr will be at the Grand Theater. Yes, a Beatle is coming to Foxwoods and he's bringing his All Starr Band with him. Featuring Todd Rundgren, Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Gregg Rolie (Santana), Greg Bissonette and Warren Ham. Ringo Starr is a legend in the music world and after a sold out tour last Summer, 2015 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Ringo Starr is back on the road this fall with his All Starr Band. Expect to hear Ringo classics such as "It Don't Come Easy," "Photograph," "Little Help From My Friends," "Yellow Submarine' and much more. Come hear all the classics with 49 years of being a "road band" with super group Chicago on Saturday night at The Toyota Oakdale Theater. Chicago is one of the longest-running and most successful rock groups, and one of the world's best-selling groups of all time, having sold more than 100 million records. According to Billboard, Chicago was the leading US singles charting group during the 1970s. They have sold over 40 million units in the US, with 23 gold, 18 platinum, and 8 multi-platinum albums. Please join us on Saturday, October 24th at 2:00 p.m. as more than 50 local businesses, civic groups and families come together to create a safe and accessible neighborhood on the miracle league field in West Hartford for children with special needs and their siblings. The event is open to children from all over the area and admission is free we focus on the fun rather than the spooky side of Halloween, come in your favorite costumes and collect some treats at the Miracle League field at the corner of Troutbrook & Asylum in West Hartford. 

Dogology is hosting its third annual Dogtoberfest celebration on Saturday, October 24th from noon to 4:00 pm at its Canton location. This family-friendly - and dog-friendly - event will raise much-needed funds for a local dog rescue and the Farmington Valley's only no-cost Pet Food Pantry maintained by Dogology. To raise money for dog rescue as well as the continued operation of the Pet Food Pantry, there will be a tea cup raffle with amazing prizes. Guests are also encouraged to bring dog and cat food that they can donate to the Pet Food Pantry. Dogology is located at 166 Albany Turnpike, in Canton. This October, West Hartford Hauntings, the Noah Webster House, West Hartford Historical Society's spooky, and theatrical cemetery tours, will celebrate the museum's 50th anniversary.The lantern-lit tours will take place on Friday through Sunday. Tours will leave every 15 minutes from 6:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Guests will be escorted through the stones by a dearly-departed guide, who will tell their own tale on the journey.The event takes place at the North Cemetery at 80 North Main Street in West Hartford.  Tickets are on sale now. Ticket prices are $9 for children 17 and under and $13 for adults. Due to some frightening content, it is suggested that participants be age 10 or over.
