Party goers planning on dressing up as comic book characters will likely have some company at their Halloween parties.
Google conjured up a database of the most searched Halloween costumes across the country and organized them into a state-by-state interactive map.
It called the feature “Frightgeist.”
Frightgeist said the most popular costume searched in Connecticut was the Batman adversary Harley Quinn.
Not only is she popular in Connecticut, she’s also the number one trend nationwide, according to Google.
Connecticut’s neighbors to the north, Springfield, MA, stuck with the Batman villain theme, but chose Poison Ivy instead.
The second most searched costume in Connecticut was anything Star Wars-related.
From there, the third most searched costume was simply “superhero.” It may be nondescript, but a quick search of the term draws up ideas for characters like Ironman, Thor and Superman.
Not to be outdone, Wonder Woman was the fourth searched item on Google’s list for Connecticut.
Rounding out the top five was a cheerleader, the only non-fiction idea on the list.

Google said every day, 3 billion searches take places on Google. Google Trends analyzed and broke down the top 500 costume searches in the country.
