Voters will soon be heading to the polls in most Connecticut cities and towns.
Municipal elections will be held Tuesday in all but four communities. Andover, Bethany, Union and Woodbridge already held municipal elections in May.
Many eyes will be the state's largest city, Bridgeport, where former mayor Joe Ganim hopes to return to office after having won the recent Democratic primary. Ganim, who served seven years in prison for public corruption, faces six other candidates.
Besides mayors and first selectmen, school and zoning board positions and other local offices will be up for grabs across the state.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. Voters can check their registration status online and find their polling place location by visiting www.myvote.ct.gov.
