Waterbury police are searching for two men who were allegedly involved in an armed home invasion.
Police said a 6-year-old and his father were held at gunpoint during the home invasion, which happened on Saturday, Nov. 7.
A man in his 20s reportedly entered the home in the Hopeville section of Waterbury at about 6 p.m. on Saturday.
He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, was about 5 feet 10 inches and had a thin moustache.
Police said another man involved was wearing a plaster mask, a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Both men were carrying hand guns when the entered the home.
Police said the men took jewelry and some video games.
No injuries were reported.
Police were able to retrieve surveillance footage of one suspect.
Neighbors said they were surprised to hear what happened.
"Hopeville is a pretty good neighborhood. It's safe," said Niesha Pagan. "I have a 6-year-old and I would be so horrified if something like that happened to my daughter."
