Crews worked Thursday to pull two burnt lobster boats from the waters of Long Island Sound.
A fire destroyed one and severely damaged the other in Stonington Wednesday.
Officials said both vessels were tied to a dock but still sank.
A concern was an estimated 200 gallons of diesel fuel on board the boats. Crews were working to offload that fuel from the raised vessels.
The dock was also damaged.
There were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Investigators said there was nothing to indicate that the fire was suspicious.
