The Connecticut Lottery has suspended one of its popular games over concerns that some retailers were intentionally manipulating a mechanism for their own benefit.
The game called Five Card Cash has an instant component that investigators said was being tampered with.
The Department of Consumer Protection will now be investigating the matter and the Connecticut Lottery will be installing new software to enhance security.
Players with winning Five Card Cash tickets will be able to cash in their tickets once sales resume.
