The University of Connecticut is investigating insensitive comments written on a dorm room door in the wake of the Paris attacks.
A name tag on a dorm room door, which has the name of a UConn student was vandalized after the terrorism in Paris occurred on Friday night.
The tag had the name "Mahmoud" on it and the student awoke to find the words "killed Paris" written below his name.
UConn spokeswoman, Stephanie Reitz has issued a statement which reads, "This hurtful act is clearly unacceptable, and it contradicts UConn's values as it works to provide a welcoming environment for all students on all our our campuses. UConn Police and other UConn officials have begun investigations into this incident, and at the same time are working to provide support to the student and impacted community."
UConn police are working to find the person who did this. There is no word if that person is a UConn student.
We will bring you updates on this developing story as they become available.
