Connecticut State Police are investigating after a man's body was found early Sunday morning in Bethany.
According to Trooper Kelly Grant, the body was found in the road on Wooding Hill Road, near Route 69 at around 4:30 a.m.
The man's body was found by a passerby.
The State Police Major Crimes division was called to the scene to investigate and determine what lead to the persons death.
Police said they did search the area for other victims, but none were located.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene and will be conducting an autopsy to assist in the investigation, police said.
Police have not identified the victim or released any other details at this time.
