Incumbent First Selectman Willie Fritz said the decision as to who runs the town may be left up to the court to decide.
"Hopefully we'll get a hearing in front of a judge, plead some of the cases that we have, why we think the whole thing should go to a re-vote. I think we have a strong case, but I think it’s difficult to have a judge or find a judge to throw out an election,” Fritz said.
Farmer defeated Fritz in a recount last Saturday, and is scheduled to be sworn in Monday night.
