Flags in Connecticut have been lowered in honor of the victims of the Paris attacks.
Gov. Dannel Malloy announced the lowering on Sunday and said it was in accordance with a proclamation from President Barack Obama.
Malloy said both U.S. and state flags in Connecticut were flown at half-staff immediately after the proclamation and will remain at that way until sunset on Thursday.
According to French officials, 129 people were killed in coordinated terrorist attacks on Friday.
France has been conducting anti-terrorist raids throughout the country.
