A crash involving a motorcycle closed part of Route 66 in Middletown on Tuesday for about two hours.
The crash was reported at about 3 p.m. on Tuesday, in the area of Pearl Street.
Route 66, also known as Washington Street, was closed between Main Street and High Street, however it has since reopened.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 29-year-old Geoffrey Morgan, who was traveling westbound on Washington Street, approaching Pearl Street,
The motorcycle and a vehicle, driven by James Woodcock, 53 of Hartford, collided.
Morgan sustained serious injuries, however his condition has not been released.
Woodcock was not injured.
