Manchester police have arrested a Hartford man after seizing about 44 pounds of marijuana on Tuesday.
Police said they used a surveillance operation in the area of Main Street in Manchester, and targeted a street-level marijuana dealer, identified as Sixto Bautista.
Police said he was taken into custody after he was found to allegedly having two large boxes of marijuana in his vehicle.
The street value of the 44 pounds of marijuana was about $160,000.
Bautista was charged with possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, possession within 1500 feet of a school, and possession with intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school.
He was held on a $750,000 bond.
