A man died after police said he was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Meriden.
Investigators said the incident happened around 6 p.m. on East Main Street.
When police arrived, they said they found 68-year-old Jack Coursey in the street suffering from multiple injuries.

The vehicle involved was a 1997 Honda Accord, which was driven by Jay Quigley. Quigley also had to be transported to the hospital for cuts to his face. Police said they were the result of his windshield breaking.
