ROCKY HILL, CT (WFSB) -

Rocky Hill police are searching for a man accused of a bank robbery on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the robbery happened at the Webster Bank on Cromwell Avenue after 1 p.m. on Thursday.

A male suspect entered the bank, reached over a customer and took an undetermined amount of money involved in that transaction. He fled the scene on foot.

Police said the man is described as being in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with dark brown hair, brown eyes, scruffy facial hair and was wearing a black waist length overcoat, black folding golf cap, blue jeans, a grey shirt and possible dress shoes.

No injuries were reported and no weapon was shown or implied.
