On Saturday, dozens of volunteers in East Hartford put in a sixth day of work to help provide for those less fortunate.
KBE Building Corporations Project Manager Bob Nelson was one of about 50 volunteers with a special task that made up the Gift of Gobble.
“I'm the pan guy, that's my number one mission this morning,” Nelson said.
“We go to a lot of different places, we touch every county in Connecticut so it's really special,” said Simon Etzel, principal of KBE Building Corporation.
KBE workers collected turkeys, stuffing, and all of the fixings to create about 200 dinner packages for people in need across the state.
“I love volunteering,” said Roxy Beaudoin, whose father works at KBE.
