Hartford police investigating pair of overnight shootings

Hartford police are investigating two overnight shootings.

Police tell Eyewitness News that the pair of shootings have left two people injured.

The first shooting occurred around 2:45 a.m. on Barbour Street.  Police said the victim in that shooting was hit in the foot and was transported to St. Francis Hospital by a private car.  His injuries are non-life threatening.

The second incident occurred on Homestead Avenue near Edgewood Street.  Officers say a man was found shot in a vehicle there and taken to an area hospital.  He is undergoing surgery at this time and listed in critical condition, police said.
