WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -

Police are looking for the person(s) who stole more than a dozen trees from the Saints Peter and Paul School lot in Waterbury.

While police are investigating, alumni and friends of the school have started a “Go Fund Me” page to raise money to help offset the loss.

So far, they’ve raised $625.

The annual tree fundraiser helps keep tuition low and helps subsidize a computer lab and extracurricular activities at the school.
