Connecticut residents woke up on Friday morning to poor visibility from fog on Friday morning.
A dense fog advisory remains in place for Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties until noon.
Earlier, a similar advisory was issued for southeast Connecticut, but it ended 8 a.m.
It means visibility is reduced to a quarter of a mile or even less in some spots.
The dense fog could be hazardous for drivers. They continue to be advised to slow down and use low beam headlights to navigate.
Drivers should also give themselves plenty of distance between themselves and the next vehicle.
