For anyone with a sweet tooth in South Windsor, it is definitely the most wonderful time of the year.
The 5th annual Wood Gingerbread House Festival is on display at the South Windsor Library, but it is wrapping up.
Dozens of houses made by bakers and people giving it a try for the first time are on display throughout the library.
Organizers said it has grown in popularity each year and is a good chance to experience something different this holiday season.
"We haven't had anyone try to take a bite out of them yet but yeah they are tempting," said David Langone, executive director of The Wood Memorial Library & Museum. "The attention to detail and the creativity is incredible."
The Wood Gingerbread House Festival is free and goes until 10 p.m. on Friday, and Saturday is the final day.
