Interstate 91 southbound was briefly shut down on Monday morning because of a tractor trailer crash, but it has since reopened with heavy delays.
The Department of Transportation said the closure was between exits 48 and 47W.
The truck was the only vehicle involved, according to the DOT. The vehicle has been moved onto the shoulder.
The crash was first reported around 7:20 a.m.
While all lanes have reopened, the DOT advised drivers that heavy delays were still expected.
