A 10-year-old girl and a 46-year-old woman were injured on Tuesday after being struck by a vehicle in Shelton.
Police said the pedestrians were in the area of Coram Avenue and Hill Street when they were hit by the car at about 5 p.m.
Both were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for injuries. Police said both victims were last reported to be in stable condition.
Police said the driver of the car is a 66-year-old woman from Seymour.
