NORTH HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

Police have arrested a man they said exposed himself to women in the parking lot of a coffee shop in North Haven back in September.

Gary Germaine, 59, allegedly flashed his genitalia to three woman in the parking lot of the Starbucks on Washington Avenue.

Police said the victims reported he slowly backed his car into a parking space next to theirs and that's when the victims noticed the exposure.

The suspect fled when he saw one of the women call police.

The victims described the suspect as a man aged 50 to 55 with a medium build and "salt and pepper" hair in a crew-style haircut.

He had been driving a gray 2004 Hyundai Sonata with a bike rack attached to the truck and rear window.

After the incident was posted to social media, police said they received a number of tips. One of them led to a search warrant for Germaine.

Germaine was arrested on Thursday and charged with public indecency and breach of peace.

He's scheduled to be arraigned in Meriden Superior Court on Dec. 31.
