Traffic is snarled on Interstate 91 northbound because of a tractor trailer crash.
State police said the truck, which was carrying gravel, overturned by exit 24 on the Rocky Hill/Wethersfield line.
The crash was first reported around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
As of 12:30 p.m., two lanes were open.
However, traffic was reportedly backed up nearly 3 miles between exits 23 and 25.
Traffic on side roads in the area was also reportedly congested.
Aetna Ambulance officials reported that two patients were transported to area hospitals.
