State police searching for suspect after armed robbery at Oxford gas station

OXFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Connecticut State Police are asking for the public’s help locating the man involved in an armed robbery at a gas station in Oxford on Tuesday night.

An unidentified man, who, entered the Gas Station, 357 Oxford Rd., around 10:30 p.m.

Police said that man was armed with a black firearm and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect fled the gas station with “undetermined amount of cash.”

Police said there were no reported injuries during the armed robbery.

The suspect was wearing a black coat over a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored mask or scarf over his face. He is also believed to be “5'10'' with a medium build,” police said.
