Police are looking to identify the victims of the counterfeit ticket scam for the Bruce Springsteen concert in Hartford.
Members of the Hartford Police Department Vice and Narcotics Unit were conducting a counterfeit ticket operation during the Bruce Springsteen concert at the XL Center on Wednesday night.
During their investigation, police received multiple complaints about tickets for the show being counterfeit. Those tickets were purchased through ad on Craigslist.
After obtaining a phone number and description of the suspect, police located 50-year-old Michael Finnimore, of New Haven, selling tickets to the Bruce Springsteen concert.
Police were able to determine the tickets were counterfeit. Police said Finnimore was found in possession of eight fake tickets.
Finnimore was charged with second-degree forgery, criminal attempt and sixth-degree larceny.
