A month-long drug investigation in Willington led to the arrest of man this week.
State police said Matthew Spinella, 23, is accused of operating a drug factory and distributing drugs called tetrahydrocannabinol concentrate, also known as THC, marijuana wax or honey oil.
Trooper said they received information that Spinella was shipping THC concentrate and marijuana from Oregon to Connecticut through the mail.
One package was recently intercepted by U.S. postal inspectors. Investigators said it had about 13 ounces of THC worth about $25,000.
A search and seizure warrant was granted by superior court. Troopers said it was executed when Spinella accepted a package at his home.
Investigators seized 548 grams of marijuana worth $8,000, two tabs of LSD, a small amount of cocaine, four amphetamine pills, $1,280 in cash, scales and drug packaging materials.
Spinella was charged with operating a drug factory, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hallucinogen.
He was scheduled to face a judge in Rockville Superior Court on Feb. 16.
