A fire erupted at a recycling plant in Hartford Monday morning.
Firefighters said they were called to the Hartford Material Innovation and Recycling Authority before 4:30 a.m.
They said they contained the fire to a hopper machine just before 5 a.m.
They also said it wasn't easy due to the frigid temperatures. Water from their hoses froze.
Firefighters said no one was hurt.
However, considerable damage was done to a part of the plant.
The rest of the facility appeared to be up and running.
Crews are still looking into what caused the fire.
