Year in and year out, consumer safety advocates said people continue to complain about the same types of businesses.
The Connecticut Better Business Bureau released its list of the top 10 most complained about businesses across the country in 2015.
"It is clear that most consumer complaints to Better Business Bureau consistently involve services that touch our everyday lives, from communications to entertainment, personal transportation, banking and shopping," said Howard Schwartz, BBB spokesperson.
In 2015, there were a total of 198,444 complaints. The previous year, it was 202,608.
Though the number of complaints declined for most of the categories as a whole, statistics showed fluctuations.
The BBB said some businesses drew fewer complains while others received more.
Cellphone service and supplies remained on the top of the complaints list with close to 36,000. In 2014, it was just over 33,000.
