An arrest warrant has been issued for the owner of a former no-kill shelter in Plainville.
According to Channel 3 media partners The New Britain Herald, Meda Talley, owner of Almost Home, is wanted for 24 counts of animal neglect.
These charges come after the shelter was raided and shut down in December.
There were complaints that the animals were not being housed properly.
Talley is expected to turn herself in at the Plainville Police Department on Monday.
