A Newington technology teacher was placed on leave after allegedly stealing a number of iPad tablets from the school.
Police said 44-year-old James Nodell, of Manchester, was arrested on Monday following an investigation that began in August. That's when the district discovered that town-owned tablets were missing.
An investigation revealed that the tablets had been stolen, and Nodell was identified as a suspect.
He was charged with first-degree larceny and appeared in court on Monday.
It is unclear how many tablets were stolen or how much they were worth.
