School bus used for Jets football tailgates catches fire in Stamford

STAMFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A school bus converted into a vehicle used for tailgating New York Jets football games caught fire in Stamford on Tuesday evening.

Police said fire crews were called to Club Road just after 7 p.m. for the report of the fire.

The bus was located about 20 feet from the home, and engulfed in flames when crews arrived.

Also involved in the fire were multiple propane tanks stored near the bus.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
