The library at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain will be open for business on Monday.
The Burritt Library was closed down earlier this month after a burst pipe damaged parts of it.
School officials had said that it wasn't expected to be ready until March 1.
However, CCSU posted to Twitter on Wednesday that it was slated to reopen on Feb. 29 at 8 a.m.
It will also return to its usual hours of operation.
School officials said a chain reaction of frozen and bursting pipes was the result of cold temperatures. Damage to books and other library materials was reported.
