A body was found near the Hog River, behind an apartment complex in Hartford on Wednesday.
Police said they were called to Woodland Street, near the water on Wednesday afternoon. They said an arrest on Tuesday night led to a search at the complex on Wednesday.
On Wednesday morning, police searched along the Hog River which runs behind the apartment building. That's where they found the body, along the river bank.

Tuesday night, police arrested 37-year-old Ronnie Gineyard at his Woodland Street apartment. He is accused of dealing drugs, and police found numerous bags of PCP in his apartment.
On Wednesday, police also said the suspect from the PCP dealing case, Gineyard, is also a suspect in a missing persons case in New Britain.
Police have not released information on the identity of the person found dead, or a cause of death.
