HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) -

A man and a woman were arrested for breaking their way into a Hamden home for a burglary back in January.

Police said Lucia Piscitello, 31 of Branford and 51-year-old William Healy of West Haven were taken into custody after a traffic stop on Wednesday.

They said they were wanted for a burglary on Hepburn Road on Jan. 15.

An investigation revealed that the suspects gained entry to the home by breaking a window pane on a rear door. Inside, they allegedly stole jewelry and electronic equipment.

Investigators were eventually able to apply for and get arrest warrants for Piscitello and Healy.

Both were found driving on the Hartford Turnpike.

Police said they charged them with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and conspiracy.

Their bonds were set at $25,000 and they were given a court date of March 16.
