When it comes to the country’s fittest cities, Hartford makes the grade.
A recent study from MSN.com was released, and showcases the 25 Fittest Cities in the U.S.
Hartford came in at number 8, showing that residents stay fit by hunting, boating, kayaking, canoeing, and camping, as well as utilizing multiple recreation centers, parks, swimming pools and tennis courts.
In the winter, Hartford offers areas for snowmobiling, and in the summer, Bushnell Park was highlighted, as well as the Cornerstone Aquatics Center and Elizabeth Park.
According to the study, Hartford also has a high level requirement for physical education classes.
