TORRINGTON, CT (WFSB) -

Two men were arrested on Wednesday after investigators determined the cause of a large brush fire in Torrington.

Vincenzo Marino, 21, and 19-year-old David Korot were found to be responsible for the fire in the Paugnut State Forest, according to state police.

Firefighters said they responded to the scene just before 12:30 p.m.

They said they figured out that it was intentionally set by hand.

Marino and Korot were identified as the suspects.

Both were released on $5,000 non-surety bonds and scheduled to face a judge on Bantam Superior Court on March 28.
