PD: 40-year-old man dies in motorcycle crash in Watertown

WATERTOWN, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Watertown have identified the victim of a deadly motorcycle crash on Friday afternoon.

A tractor trailer collided with the motorcycle on Echo Lake Road Extension around 3:30 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle, 40-year-old Ronald Fayer of Oakville, was taken to Waterubry Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Police do not believe speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.

The driver of the truck was not hurt and is not expected to be charged.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Watertown Police Department and the Central Naugatuck Valley Regional Accident Investigation Team.
