Subway robbery suspect sought by police in Orange

ORANGE, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Orange are searching for a man accused of robbing a Subway on Saturday night.

The suspect entered the Subway on Boston Post Road just before 8:30 p.m. Police said employees opened the register and the suspect took cash.

No employees were harmed and no customers were inside the restaurant at the time.

The suspect was described as being a man in his 20s or 30s, who was wearing black pants and a grey shirt and wearing a scarf or bandana over his face

He fled the scene on foot and police said no weapon was displayed.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect should contact Orange police at 203.891.2130.

Police did say that it appears this is the same person responsible for a similar robbery at Dip Top about 24 hours earlier.
