College basketball fans in Connecticut are fired up over ticket prices to the big dance.
In about 24 hours, the 9th seeded University of Connecticut Huskies face off against 8th seeded Colorado Buffaloes in Des Moines, IA.
Many fans said they've already completed their brackets.
"I'm going to be at my friend's house with at least three monitors going and TVs, watching every game at the time on Thursday," said Lauren Marotta of Hartford.
The games have local businesses hoping for a big score as well.
"I'm hoping a lot of our regulars come in," said Kristy Mahler, a bartender at Agave Grill. "I'm hoping people who normally go to the games will come and join us."
The price of getting to UConn's first round NCAA Tournament matchup has fans crying foul.
According to the NCAA's website, tickets range from $170 to just over $500.
Priceline.com has the average ticket price to the game listed at $293.
Sports enthusiasts told Eyewitness News that they thought the prices were absurd and out of reach for most fans.
"I could be somebody who grew up in the area but never went to the college but I'm still a huge fan but I can't go to the game because I just might not have the funds to do that," said Brandon Trasher of Hartford.
"I'm just content to sit home with a beer and watch the game at home for free," said Jack Brennan of West Hartford.
UConn said that while the NCAA does not provide student tickets for the first two rounds, it will receive about 5,000 tickets if the team advances to the Final Four.
The Huskies play at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game is on TNT.
