A boy was hospitalized following a crash in Somers.
State police said it happened on Main Street at Ninth District Road just before 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Superintendent Maynard Suffredini said a school bus was making a turn onto Ninth District Road when two vehicles collided with the back of the bus.
Suffredini said 35 children were on the bus at the time.
Though a boy was hurt, the injuries were described as minor soreness. An ambulance took him to the hospital as a precaution.
All of the other students were checked out and cleared by emergency crews on the site.
They were put on another school bus and sent on to school.
Suffredini said the administration notified parents and asked them to check their children out after the incident.
Tow trucks cleared the crash scene later in the morning.
A cause for the crash remains under investigation.
