EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A man accused of hurting three East Hartford police officers and leading another in a pursuit earlier this year is facing more charges.

On Jan. 5, East Hartford police were investigating a narcotics case on Pitkin Street.

As police approached the man, three officers were injured when the suspect, Kevin McNeilly, hit them with his car.

He was arrested and appeared in court, but after the accident reconstruction team did a follow-up investigation, McNeilly is now being charged with two counts of attempt to commit murder, three counts of assault of a public safety employee, three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of first-degree assault, interfering with an officer, and six counts of third-degree criminal mischief.

McNeilly is being held on an $800,000 bond and is expected to appear in court again on April 13.
