MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) -

Police in Meriden said they're looking to identify two restaurant burglary suspects.

They said the men pried open a side door to the Caribbean Restaurant on Center Street on March 17.

The incident happened just before 3:30 a.m.

"It's scary, very scary," said Rosa Valle, who owns the restaurant.

Several surveillance photos were released. In them, one suspect wore what appeared to be a dark-colored hoodie and a partial face mask. The other was similarly dressed, but wearing some kind of baseball hat.

Police said the suspects took an ATM and a floor-mounted safe, which they wheeled out on a hand-truck.

"They were professional taking the stuff from the floor. You know it was attached to the ground," Valle said.

The safe reportedly had $29,000 in it.

The items looked to be loaded on to a silver or light-colored SUV.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Meriden Police Department at 203-630-6267.
