HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

A man reported missing on Tuesday from a Rocky Hill group home was seen in Hartford.

Police said 37-year-old Montague “Monty” Anderson was last seen on Monday at the private group home, located at 44 Little Oak Ln., around 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, police said Anderson was reported to have visited a home on Hartland Street in Hartford at about 11:45.

The person Anderson visited is a former classmate from elementary school. That person called Hartford police, but before they arrived, Anderson had already left the area and was seen heading toward Blue Hills Avenue.

Anderson told that person he was okay and had a bus pass.

A second person reported that Anderson may have been seen in the area of Main and Pearl streets heading toward Asylum on Monday afternoon.

He was wearing a gray bubble style down jacket and a gray knit style winter hat.
