BRONX, NY (WFSB) -

A father accused of kidnapping his son from a Trumbull home, causing an Amber Alert, has been arrested.

Officials said Rodolfo Revello was captured by U.S. Marshal’s Service on Wednesday morning in the Bronx, N.Y.

He is being charged with a federal violation of probation and is expected to be charged by Trumbull Police with second-degree kidnapping, second-degree larceny, criminal violation of a restraining order, second-degree strangulation, second-degree assault, second-degree threatening, second-degree criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct.

On March 12, 7-year-old Ariel Revello was taken from his Trumbull home by his father.

He was found at about 6:30 p.m. that same day, but Rodolfo Revello had been missing since then.

The kidnapping stemmed from a domestic violence incident at about 4:30 a.m. on March 12 when police said Rodolfo Revello forced his way into the home and violently assaulted his estranged wife in the bedroom.

Revello will be served with an arrest warrant by Trumbull police.
