A Hartford landmark will be lit with the colors of the Belgian flag in a show of support following the deadly attacks in Brussels.
The lights on the 527-foot-tall Travelers Tower skyscraper in downtown Hartford will shine black, yellow and red from dusk until midnight starting Wednesday through the end of the week. The building was constructed in 1919 and is the second tallest building in the city.
Explosions set off by suicide bombers at an airport and subway station in Brussels on Tuesday killed 34 people and wounded 270. The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility.
Belgians on Wednesday began three days of mourning for the victims.
