After a round of morning rain, an afternoon round could include some rumbles of thunder.
Meteorologist Mark Dixon said along with that chance, temperatures will be a big headline.
"As of noon, it's in the 50s," Dixon said. "Where the wind is still out of the north, temps are in the 40s. As the day progresses, the southerly wind takes over and temperatures statewide approach or exceed 60 in many towns."

Drizzle and fog contributed to wet driving conditions in the morning.
That round of rain moved in from the Hudson valley in New York.
By Friday night, however, temperatures will drop into the 30s.
"In the wake of the unsettled weather [Friday], as the storm system pulls away [Friday] evening, expect a great weekend, weather-wise," Dixon said.
Saturday will start out in the 30s then warm into the 50s.
Easter Sunday, the lows will also be in the 30s, but highs will be in the 60s.
"Sunshine will mix with clouds during the afternoon, but our weather will remain dry throughout the daylight hours," Haney said.
However, rain will arrive again late Sunday night into Monday morning.
"The Monday morning commute will be wet, but we should be in much better shape for the afternoon commute as a drier northwesterly wind takes over," Haney said.
Highs should be in the 50s to near 60.
