A son accused of murdering his parents over the summer is set to face a judge for pre-trial proceedings in Fairfield.
Earlier this year, Kyle Navin pleaded not guilty to charges that he murdered Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin of Easton.
He asked for a jury trial during a court appearance in January.
Prosecutors said Kyle Navin's parents were last seen in August, 2015. The couple's vehicle was found in a commuter lot off of the Merritt Parkway in Westport a few weeks later.
In the fall, state and local police said they were led to a vacant home in Weston where the remains of Jeffrey and Jeannette Navin were discovered.
Kyle Navin is due in Fairfield court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
