BETHEL, CT (WFSB) -

A second person has died in connection with a shooting that happened in Bethel last week.

Police said 56-year-old Thai Pham died from injuries suffered in Friday's incident at a home on Governor's Lane.

Charles Cristofalo, 77, died on the day it happened.

In all, three people were shot in what police said looked to be a murder-suicide attempt.

Charles Cristofalo was found dead inside the home.

68-year-old Ahn Cristofalo and Pham were both rushed to a local hospital.

Pham later died from the injuries.

Sources told Eyewitness News that the incident was a landlord-tenant dispute that involved an eviction.

According to court documents, Friday was supposed to be the end of an eviction battle.

The Cristofalos were evicting Pham.

Police said they are still investigating who fired the shots.
