A Connecticut company is using the presidential race for a popular card game.
It's called Humanity Hates Trump similar to the popular card game, Cards against Humanity. However, it's not aimed to bash Donald Trump at all.
“Don't worry about what's coming next and just play the game,” said Direct Howard Greenspan, who is the president and owner of SCS Direct in Trumbull.
We never know what he's going to say, which makes Trump the talk of this upcoming presidential race.
“We watched the TV and everyone is up and arms and stressed out about this upcoming election,” Greenspan said. “And sometimes you have to just laugh."
Greenspan said he came up with the Humanity Hates Trump.
“It’s just laughing with Trump,” Greenspan said. “The game isn't about bashing at all. It's all the things that Trump is going to say, do and sitting around with your friends and just smile and that's all I can do, is just smile."
The game is played similar to Cards Against Humanity, where players use black and white cards. Each round, one player asks a question from a black card and everyone else answers with what they think is the funniest white card.
The Trump cards have statements he has made on the campaign trail and in the past.
“It might be his stance on foreigners to women,” Greenspan said.
In this game, there's a twist. The "ultimate Trump card,” if a player gets that they automatically win the round.
While the game isn't available just yet, the group has gotten support on the website. They launched the idea on Kickstarter. To learn more about their Kickstarter campaign, click here.
Before this game is ready for sale, the company is already planning to make one for Hillary Clinton.
“This is a stressful election for a lot of people and whether you're for Trump or against Trump at least you can do is laugh,” Greenspan said.
The Humanity Hates Trump card game will be available between the end of April to the middle of May.
