A Connecticut high school is canceling a class trip to Germany and Austria because of security concerns following bombings in Belgium.
After talking to experts, Greenwich school officials announced earlier this week that the high school trip was canceled.
“This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution and care for our students and staff,” a letter to parents said.
The district said it isn’t ruling out all international travel, and says local field trips will continue.
